This service offers speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. They support children and young people who have needs in the following areas:

• speech, language and communication needs and feeding and swallowing difficulties
• occupational performance needs which impact upon their daily participation in activities
• difficulties with movement which impact on their physical development, activity and ability to participate in play, learning and socialising.

You can self refer if you have a medical/podiatric problem that puts your foot at risk of deterioration. Conditions include:

Dr Shaheen Jinah, Dr Simon Wilson and Dr Abid Bashir at Hughenden surgery have a particular interest in joint injections. You will need to see one of the doctors before minor surgery or joint injections can be arranged.

Care in pregnancy is provided in the practice in conjunction with the local Consultant Obstetricians and our local Midwives.

Antenatal care will be carried out in the surgery during normal surgery or Antenatal Clinic hours (please tell the receptionist it is an ante-natal appointment as some may need extra time).
