This practice is now teaching medical students from Oxford University Medical School.

From time to time you may be asked by one of the doctors whether you would mind being seen by the students. The students are always monitored by one of the partners.

Foundation Year 2 Doctors

From August 2008 we will be supervising the training of foundation year 2 doctors. These doctors have already completed 1 year post qualification, but are not trained GPs, and will therefore be supervised by the partners in the practice as they learn about General Practice. You may be asked by the receptionist if you would be happy to be seen by the Foundation Year 2 Doctor. This is likely to involve a slightly longer appointment than usual.

Senior Registrar

From August 2008, we will have a Senior Registrar working with us for a year. She is a qualified GP who has elected to undertake a year of further study which includes working in our practice for 1 day a week.

Protected Learning Time

The practice will be closed for staff training on the afternoons of:

9/10/08, 12/11/08, 08/01/09, 11/02/09, 12/03/09, 16/04/09, 13/05/09, 11/06/09, 15/07/09, 10/09/09, 14/10/09, 12/11/09.

Emergency cover will be provided by Harmoni, the out of hours provider, on the usual phone number which can also be obtained by phoning the surgery number. The pharmacy will be open as usual.
