HUGHENDEN VALLEY PHARMA LTD

Hughenden Valley Pharma Ltd is a self contained pharmacy within the surgery building. It is open to the general public, not just patients of the surgery.

As well as filling prescriptions, the pharmacy sells cold and flu preparations, antibiotics for conjunctivitis, hayfever tablets and liquids, eye drops and nose sprays, cough mixtures, corn, wart and verruca preparations, rubs for aches and pains, pain killers, travel sickness treatments, nit preparations, sanitary items, incontinence pads, condoms, pill cutters, tablet boxes, ear drops, tissues etc.

Any items not in stock can often be ordered in on request.

Your pharmacy has been up and running for over a year now. We are sure that you will agree that it is providing an excellent service. The efficiency of making the request to your Surgery, the prescription being produced by your GP and your medication being dispensed for collection all under one roof in just 48 hours far overshadows most of the competition.

Most surgeries expect 48 hours just to provide a prescription and then it has to make its way to a Pharmacy for dispensing.

Experienced staff who know you can sort many problems, and concerns/queries can be put to your GP directly by a member of the Pharmacy team.

Hughenden Valley Pharmacy is now able to offer you a medicines use review. This would enable you to come along and discuss your medication, both prescribed and over-the-counter, in a private consultation with the Pharmacist. This would only take 5 -10 minutes of your time. If you are interested in this free service, please telephone 01494 565458 between 1.30pm and 3.00pm.
